About Eva Dawson, OTR/L, CMLDT
Certified Holistic Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist
Founder of Eva Therapeutic Well-Being, LLC
Eva Dawson is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Holistic Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist with over two decades of experience guiding individuals through complex, chronic, and often misunderstood health challenges.
She graduated Cum Laude from Eastern Michigan University in 2001 and began her career working with children with autism and sensory processing disorders. During this time, she became the first occupational therapist to serve on the Autism Society State Board in Nebraska, advocating for greater access to care and insurance coverage for families.
Her clinical path later expanded into neuro-rehabilitation and women’s health at Grand Island Physical Therapy, where she served as Director of Women’s Health and developed Nebraska’s first Pre- and Post-Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Program—helping shape a more comprehensive model of recovery across the state.
Where Science Meets Something More
Over the course of her career, Eva began to recognize a deeper truth: many individuals were doing everything “right,” yet still not healing.
This led her to expand beyond traditional therapy into a more integrative, root-cause approach—one that honors both the physical body and the deeper patterns that influence it.
Her work now weaves together:
- Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)
- DUTCH hormone testing
- Functional nutrition and mineral-based support
- Custom-compounded protocols
- Gut and immune system restoration
These tools allow her to identify patterns of depletion, stress, and imbalance—and support the body in restoring efficiency at a foundational level.
The Space In Between
Eva’s approach is deeply influenced by the concept of the Vesica Piscis—the intersection where two worlds meet.
At the center of this intersection lies the mandorla—the space where these two worlds merge, overlap, and create something entirely new.
One side represents clinical science: physiology, testing, and measurable patterns within the body.
The other represents emotional, energetic, and lived experience: trauma, stress, and the deeper layers that influence how the body responds and heals.
Eva brings these two worlds together through a comprehensive and individualized approach.
She works with detailed clinical insight—assessing symptoms, reviewing Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and DUTCH hormone testing, evaluating organ function, lymphatic flow, muscle patterns, and areas of pain or dysfunction within the body.
At the same time, she holds space for the less visible, yet equally important aspects of healing—understanding each person’s history, stress patterns, emotional experiences, and the ways trauma may be stored within the body.
By integrating both the science of the body and the story of the person, Eva helps clients access the mandorla—the space in between, where the body can return to its natural rhythm, and where healing is supported through regulation, connection, and the reintroduction of joy.
Her Work
Eva supports individuals who feel stuck, depleted, or disconnected from their bodies—often after trying many different approaches without lasting results.
Her goal is not just symptom relief, but helping each person:
- Rebuild their internal foundation
- Restore nervous system balance
- Improve energy, digestion, and resilience
- Reconnect with their body’s natural rhythm
- Create space for joy, ease, and sustainable well-being
Her work is both clinical and intuitive—structured, yet deeply personalized.
Her Philosophy
Healing is not about choosing between science or spirituality—it is about understanding how they work together.
When the body is supported physically and regulated at a deeper level, it naturally begins to shift out of survival and into a state of balance, connection, and vitality.
True healing begins when we allow ourselves to return to joy — the body’s natural rhythm.
