Sleep Disturbances

Unhealthy sleep patterns can be caused by underlying medical issues, adrenal fatigue, stress, anxiety, or trauma. A comprehensive evaluation will be completed to determine root causes of sleep disturbances along with patient education in minimizing stressors, deep breathing techniques, yoga exercises, and sleep schedules. Treatment for sleep disturbances may include stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system with multiple modalities to calm the body.

Hormonal Imbalance

Hormonal imbalances can be caused by stress, adrenal fatigue, diet, lack of exercise, underlying medical issues, toxins, or unbalanced lifestyle. A comprehensive evaluation will be completed to determine root causes of the hormonal imbalance along with patient education to minimize stress and improve healthy eating habits. Treatments for hormonal imbalance may include utilizing essential oils to help support healthy body function, specialized exercises and relaxation techniques and patient education.

Infertility can be caused by stress, disruptions in appropriate anatomical structures, liver imbalances, improper blood flow to organs, and hormonal imbalances. A comprehensive evaluation will be completed to assist women in addressing their infertility naturally along with patient education on menstrual health and healthy lifestyle changes to increase fertility. Treatment may include visceral manipulation and utilization of essential oils to help support healthy body function.

Pre- and Postpartum Rehabilitation

A woman who strives to have a natural birth needs to prepare her body for this event. A comprehensive evaluation will be completed for each patient to determine an individualized course of action to prepare their bodies for natural labor. Patient education in breathing techniques, specialized exercises, and manual techniques may also be utilized to help the body prepare for this event. Issues with low back pain, sciatic pain, or abdominal pain can be treated using body alignment techniques, specialized stretches and exercises and relaxation techniques. Postpartum rehabilitation involves strengthening the pelvic floor, improving sexual function, addressing stress/hormonal levels, and mental health as well as correcting Diastasis Recti and abdominal separation.

Lymphatic drainage is a deeply restorative therapy that encourages the movement of lymph fluid throughout the body. Sinus drain can be used to help individuals recover from sinus infections or colds, as well as provide stress relief. A gentle massage is used within the collarbone and neck area to promote sinus drainage and remove mucous from the nasal cavity in order to assist with breathing function.

Pelvic pain is prevalent among males and females. An evaluation is provided to determine the underlying cause of the pelvic pain. Specialized exercises, visceral treatment, and essential oils are used to aid in the relief of pelvic pain. Internal manual techniques, biofeedback and relaxation techniques may be completed based on each individual’s needs.

Eva is a Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master. Eva became certified from the International Center for Reiki Training. The spiritual healing art of Reiki works by channeling positive energy into the body. Eva can use Reiki energy placing her hands on the affected areas of the body to treat pain, emotional issues, trauma or injury. This powerful flow of positive energy may bring a near-immediate sensation of relief as it releases tension, lessens the impact of stress and replaces negative energy with the positive. Some refer to this positive Reiki energy as the life force, and indeed it can bring new life to a stressed-out, tired body. In a Reiki session, the intention is to create deep relaxation, to help speed healing, reduce pain, and decrease other symptoms you may be experiencing.

Bowel/Bladder Function

Disturbances in healthy bowel and bladder function can be caused by consuming certain foods, excessive amounts of caffeine and sugar, stress, and consumption of certain medications. A comprehensive evaluation will be completed to determine how to regain control of these functions along with patient education on toileting patterns, proper hydration, manual manipulation techniques, specialized exercises, and proper positioning for toileting.
